| Q:
When to hire a professional videographer? |
A: Calling
in a professional videographer for a short,
PowerPoint-destined video clip is probably
unnecessary. But there are situations in
which a professional will save your company
both time and money.
Consider hiring a professional if:
- Your video clip will be viewed by
a wide and discerning audience (e.g.,
the general public) and quality is
the No. 1 concern.
- Your project is complex, with several
shots, interview subjects and multimedia
elements.
- You need a quick turnaround. Whatever
your deadline is, a professional can
probably do it faster – at a
price, of course.

Q:
Will your DVD function properly in my DVD
player?
|
| A:
We use DVD-R discs, the most compatible recordable
DVD format available. Not all players and
drives can read recorded disks. The basic
issue is that recordable discs have different
reflectivity than the pressed discs (the prerecorded
kind you buy in a store), and not all DVD
players have been correctly designed to read
them. There are compatibility lists on most
manufacturer web sites. Sometimes there is
a compatibility issue with the brand used. |
| Q:
What if my DVD player will not play the
DVD
I received from blue yonder weddings? |
| A:
If your DVD player has incompatibility issues
with DVD-R's that we produce, we will gladly
exchange them with another brand at our office.
